纬创资通印度厂房违规 传苹果威胁撤订单
据外媒报道,苹果(AAPL.US)警告供应商台湾纬创资通,若不解决印度工厂的骚乱,不会再向纬创下新订单。
苹果表示,据初步调查结果显示,纬创违反苹果的供应商行为准则,没有实施适当的工时管理流程,令部分员工10及11月的工资延迟发放。
较早时大批印度Narasapura工厂的工人因不满薪金及工作时间而在纬创的厂房示威,期後演变成暴力冲突,造成最多约712万美元的损失。其後Narasapura政府发表报告,指纬创的厂房严重违反劳动法,包括工资不足、工作时间不规律以及工作环境恶劣。
纬创发声明,承认工厂的部分工人没有得到适当的工资,将解雇一名负责当地业务的高层,重组管理团队,并还为工人设立援助计划。
