利邦(00891.HK):渣打银行向法院提交对公司的清盘呈请
格隆汇 12 月 15日丨利邦(00891.HK)发布公告,2020年12月14日,公司获悉渣打银行已于2020年12月8日向百慕达最高法院提交对公司的清盘呈请。提交呈请的主要理由为公司未能按照渣打银行的要求根据公司向渣打银行提供的担保支付如该公告所述的同一欠款总额约1.50亿港元。呈请将于2021年1月8日上午十时正(百慕达时间)于法院聆讯。呈请仅作为公司的清盘申请向法院提交,及于该公告日期,法院并无就将公司清盘而授出清盘令。
公司谨注意到,集团的银行借款总额由2017年12月31日的15.603亿港元减少至2018年12月31日的11.103亿港元,并进一步减少至2019年12月31日的5.685亿港元。在全球经济受2019新型冠状病毒病大流行的严重影响下,董事会将继续密切监察集团的业务表现。
