不服跑个分?苹果M1芯片运行 Windows 10 的速度比微软Surface Pro X 还快

近期,一位AWS工程师Alexander Graf 通过使用虚拟软件在苹果的 M1芯片上运行了 Windows 10,并通过一系列的基准测试显示,苹果的M1芯片在性能方面超越了Surface Pro X。

M1芯片采用了台积电目前最先进的5nm工艺制造,搭载了8核CPU、8核GPU以及一个16核的神经网络引擎。CPU、GPU、缓存集成在一起,其中包含160亿个晶体管,数量创造了苹果芯片的新高。

搭载M1芯片的Mac使用 Rosetta 2 技术可以有效地编译在英特尔芯片中编写的应用程序(在现有的macbook中) ,这样它们就可以在新的 ARM 硬件上运行。
在国外媒体对新款 Macbook Air 的评测中,有人尝试了用 Intel CPU 编码的旧款和新款应用,它们在M1上运行得很好,性能水平没有明显的差别。

通过Alexander Graf 分享的QEMU Virtualized补丁,在现有基础上对两款设备进行了一系列的性能测试。结果显示,搭载M1处理器的新Mac在Windows系统下,其性能要大幅领先高通等竞品。

以Geekbench 5为例,运行macOS的Apple M1设备的原生单核/多核性能为1737/7549分,而同样的设备在通过在QEMU虚拟化方案运行的Windows 10中,单核/多核性能仅为1288/5449分。

同样,对比基于高通骁龙SQ2芯片组的Surface Pro X 2,其运行Windows on ARM的得分为单核799分和多核3089分。

另外,x86版本的Geekbench 4在Surface Pro X上的跑分为单核2019/多核6646分,而ARM虚拟化系统下的成绩则是单核2553/多核 8719分。


苹果公司的软件工程主管Craig Federighi曾在接受媒体采访时表示,目前搭载M1芯片的 Mac不支持 Windows,也没有像Intel Mac上那样的Boot Camp功能,但很多人都在期待M1 Mac能支持Windows操作系统。
对于支持Windows系统这件事,Craig Federighi明确表示,这件事由微软决定,因为核心技术是存在的,Mac也能胜任,但微软必须决定是否向Mac用户授权其基于ARM架构的Windows版本。
