邱腾华指美方反应令人失望 要求世贸跟进港货来源标签规定
特区政府根据世界贸易组织争端解决机制,正式启动程序,要求世贸处理美国对香港输往美国货品,产地来源标记要改为「中国制造」的新规定的投诉。
商务及经济发展局局长邱腾华会见传媒时表示,美方过往六星期的反应令人失望,香港有必要向美方采取进一步行动。
根据世贸机制,美方需要在特区政府提出磋商後,10日内作出回应,亦要在30日内与香港进行磋商。如果双方未能在60日内透过磋商得到解决,特区政府有权、亦会要求世贸设立专家小组,审议有关争端。
