IATA下調明年航空業界收入預測 料較2019年跌46%
國際航空運輸協會(IATA)發表最新預測,料2021年行業收入較2019年的8,380億美元減少46%,差於早前預測的減少29%。協會原預計航空需求在今年第四季開始復甦,現在因新冠疫情反彈及各地政府實施出入境檢疫限制下延後。協會亦預計,今年全球航空交通量按年跌66%,其中12月需求按年跌68%。
協會指出,今年第四季將極為困難,未見跡象顯示情況於明年上半年顯著改善,因邊境關閉或檢疫措施仍然持續。在欠缺政府額外支援下,按中位數計航空公司手上現金僅能應付8.5個月開支。
