沃尔玛CEO:疫情反弹下美部分地区再现民众储备物资
美零售巨擘沃尔玛(Walmart)行政总裁Doug McMillon表示,随着美国新冠确诊数字上升,美国部分地区开始再次见到民众储备行为。他指公司团队及供应商有时间回应,又指公司已考虑节假日消费模式及相应调整,涉及感恩节、黑色星期五等。公司希望推动顾客更多地透过电商渠道,减少人群及店铺的压力。
McMillon亦指,顾客需求在疫情下改变,民众不再花太多钱外游,并选择其他活动,有关转变亦影响部分货品种类销售。他又认为,欠缺财政刺激政策在失业者及小型企业的後果正愈益明显,有关人士确需要政府支援。
