国泰(00293.HK)9月载客量按年跌98.1% 料明年客运运力仍低於50%正常水平

国泰航空(00293.HK)公布，国泰航空与国泰港龙在9月合共载客4.71万人次，按年下跌98.1%，收入乘客千米数按年减少97%。乘客运载率下跌48.8个百分点至24.9%，以可用座位千米数计算的运力则下跌91%。在今年首九个月，载运乘客人次较去年同期下跌83.2%，运力下跌74.8%，而收入乘客千米数则下跌81%。
两航空公司在9月运载的货物及邮件合共10.95万公吨，按年下跌36.6%。月内的货物及邮件收入吨千米数按年减少30.4%。运载率上升9.8个百分点至75.3%。以可用货物及邮件吨千米数计算的运力下跌39.5%。在今年首九个月，载运货物量较去年同期下跌33.9%，运力下跌34.9%，而货物及邮件收入吨千米数则下跌26.9%。
国泰航空顾客及商务总裁林绍波表示，在9月集团继续营运极少量的客运运力，尽管集团於月内恢复了宿雾和珀斯的航班，但9月运力只为正常水平的9%，较8月的8%微增。月内载客人次平均每日只有1,568人，运载率约为25%。另外，自8月中香港放宽中国内地出境转机限制以来，有关需求逐渐回升。总括而言，过境旅客占9月整体客运量大约33%。
他指，仔细分析航空业面对的困境，及集团旗下航空公司的众多应对方案後，目前预期集团今年年底前仅会营运10%疫情前的客运运力，而预计整体明年的客运运力仍会低於50%正常水平。集团检视了多项可能性较大的疫情恢复情况，最终决定了采纳最为乐观的展望。相对於疫情前的客运运力，集团预计明年上半年将营运低於四分一的客运运力，并期望市道於明年下半年逐渐复苏。然而，预测是建基於研发中的疫苗有效、并能於明年夏季在主要市场广泛采用的假设之上。
