建造業總工會倡15工種續凍薪一年 指整體失業率達27.8%遠超官方數據
香港建造業總工會今日(12日)發布薪酬調整報告,經諮詢工會會員意見,及與多間建造業商會商討後,建議業內主要15項工種,包括平水及測量、挖掘機(雞頭)、扎鐵、模板、混凝土(石屎)、搭棚、金屬棚架(通架)、泥水、雲石、喉管、金屬工、油漆、木匠(裝修傢俬)、雕刻木器、天花間隔,從今年11月1日起,凍薪一年,與去年相同。該會促政府促請政府推出更多短期合約工程,以吸納失業人士。
該會今年6至8月期間,以電話訪問超過1.7萬名會員,發現整體失業率為27.8%,較政府早前公布的行業失業率11.1%更高;失業受訪者中更有87%屬41歲至70歲。調查又顯示,失業率較高的工種分別是紮鐵、金屬工、釘板、坭水及油漆,失業率均高達30%。
