燕京啤酒8日晚間發佈重大事項公告稱，公司董事長、總經理趙曉東因涉嫌職務違法，被有關部門立案調查並採取留置措施，不能正常履職。目前，公司工作暫由副董事長、常務副總經理謝廣軍先生主持，各項經營活動正常開展。公司董事會及管理層將確保公司正常運營、規範運作。

燕京啤酒稱，該事項對公司經營管理工作未產生重大影響。目前，公司工作暫由副董事長、常務副總經理謝廣軍先生主持，各項經營活動正常開展。公司董事會及管理層將確保公司正常運營、規範運作。

公開資料顯示，趙曉東，男，1972年6月出生，博士研究生，高級工程師。1998年加入北京燕京啤酒集團，現同時擔任北京燕京啤酒集團公司以及北京燕京啤酒股份有限公司董事長、總經理。2017年9月獲委任為公司執行董事兼副主席。
趙曉東曾被評為全國優秀設備工作者、北京優秀青年工程師、北京市優秀青年企業家銀獎、北京市勞動模範、北京優秀創業企業家、多次獲北京市企業管理現代化創新成果一等獎。
根據燕京啤酒2020年半年報顯示，2020年上半年，燕京啤酒實現營業收入約為55.65億元，與去年同期64.62億元，降幅在13.89%；歸屬於上市公司股東的淨利潤約為2.69億元，相較於去年同期5.12億元，降幅在47.46%。
燕京啤酒主營啤酒、露酒、礦泉水、啤酒原料、飼料、酵母、塑料箱的製造和銷售。啤酒屬於日常快速消費品，公司啤酒的生產及銷售業務佔公司主營業務的90%以上。
該公司在半年報中稱，2020年上半年，燕京啤酒的生產經營受疫情影響，面臨較大壓力，公司在做好疫情防控的前提下，有序推進各項工作，高效發展。進入第二季度後，隨着復產復工加快，生產經營活動有序開展，公司積極採取各種措施，科學統籌原材料運輸、包裝材料配送、生產流程組織、優秀品質管理、產品快速營銷等全鏈條工作，並根據市場情況及時做出調整，在維護餐飲渠道的同時加大流通渠道的營銷力度，重點關注線上銷售、家庭消費，持續佈局跨平台銷售戰略，公司啤酒銷量從四月份開始，實現連續增長，營業收入顯著提速，淨利潤同比增長達兩位數。
