飓风料进入墨西哥湾 美南部离岸油田员工开始疏敌
《路透》报道,能源企业因应预测飓风进袭墨西哥湾,开始撤离美国南部离岸油田的工作人员。其中BP及必和必拓已撤离非必要人员,必和必拓明日(7日)暂停有关油田运作。西方石油亦表示会采取行动保护员工及设施。
美国国家飓风中心预测,目前位於牙买加以南海域的飓风Delta将会增强,并在明日增强为三级飓风,掠过墨西哥及古巴之间海域进入墨西哥湾,并在周四(8日)影响路易斯安那及佛罗里达州西部地区。
若飓风Delta如预期在美国登陆,将为今年第10个风暴登陆美国,打破1916年纪录。
