金管局:因应低息及低通胀上调iBond定息息率
2020年通胀挂勾债券(iBond)最高发行额提升至150亿元,金管局高级助理总裁刘应彬表示,若最终申请额低於150亿元,将就全数申请额作出相应发行。他指是次上调定息部份主要由於通胀有上升空间,及银行息率较低,但难以预测最终申请人数。
至於是次认购银行不包括虚拟银行,刘应彬指主要由於相关银行开业时间不长,未有时间进行相关配套措施,大部份亦未申请持牌代表牌照。
是次发行安排行之一中银香港(02388.HK)个人数字金融产品部副总经理周国昌预计,今次发行应可创最高认购人数及金额记录,过往经该行申请iBond的客户超过80%持有至到期。早前数批iBond经电子银行渠道认购占50%,他相信是次将会提升,早前经该行领取政府派发的1万元有80%经电子银行渠道申请。
