汇丰料中国债券纳入富时指数期间将带动1,400亿至1,500亿美元被动资金流入
富时罗素宣布将中国政府债券纳入富时世界政府债券指数。汇丰环球投资管理亚太区债券投资总监陈宝枝表示,富时罗素的决定进一步肯定中国在推进金融市场改革方面作出的努力,亦印证中国在岸债券走向主流化的趋势。
目前,追踪富时世界政府债券指数的资产预计达到2.5万亿美元。汇丰估计在中国债券被纳入富时指数的期间将带动约1,400亿至1,500亿美元的被动资金流入。
汇丰认为,现在全球投资环境中,超过四分之一的全球投资级别债券的收益为负数,所以中国在岸债券对寻求更高收益资产的投资者而言是具有吸引力。当前中国的10年期政府债券的收益率为3.1%,是美国(0.68%)的四倍多。同时,中国在岸债券一向与其他资产的关联较低,因此受到全球风险情绪的影响比较少,从而能提供独具分散投资风险的好处。
