李小加:續推動債券通 冀於本港推首隻中國離岸國債期貨
港交所(00388.HK)行政總裁李小加於網上論壇上表示,於現時中美角力的政治環境下,對本港可否持續作為國際金融中心為決定性的時刻,指現時全球化進程放慢,加上美國低息環境致國際間美元流動性前所未有地高,對於美元壟斷是否可持續產生疑問,他相信中國將會及有必要推進人民幣國際化,惟明白市場仍關注人民幣資本管制、穩定性、利率及匯率的關注。
他相信人民幣國際化進程將持續,港交所亦須做好準備,仍有大量工作需要進行,債券通將續推出新產品,相信衍生產品將有龐大市場需求,並可於本港推出首隻中國離岸國債期貨。
