欧盟要求Facebook、谷歌及Twitter进一步打击散播假新闻
欧盟执委会要求Facebook(FB.US)、谷歌(GOOGL.US)及Twitter(TWTR.US)等科投巨擘必须加强打击散播虚假信息,因社交平台上出现太多有关新冠病毒疫情的假消息。
於两年前科技公司避免更加严厉的监管,一致同意提高打击假新闻的准则,但《路透社》引述执委会报告显示,在该准则实施第一年後进发现多项漏洞,包括各成员国及各社交平台之间在落实规范时出现不一致的情况,同时准则在自我规范方面亦有局限性。
欧盟执委会副主席Vera Jourova呼吁目前是时候采取进一步行动,认为这些社交平台必须负起更大的责任。
