赫斯基能源或放棄加拿大離岸油田項目 逼使當地政府介入
《金融時報》報道,長和(00001.HK)旗下赫斯基能源表示,公司或取消加拿大大西洋離岸油田項目,試圖逼使加拿大政府介入。
公司早前與該項目投資者Suncor Energy及加拿大政府開會,討論加拿大聯邦或地方政府入股有關項目的可行性。加拿大聯邦資源部部長Seamus O’Regan表示,聯邦政府及紐芬蘭地方政府正敲定步驟以支持離岸油田項目。
赫斯基能源所涉項目預計日產量7.5萬桶,項目目前已完成六成,原預計2022年投產,赫斯基能源對該項目的投資預算為110億加拿大元。但油價年初下跌促使公司暫停項目。
