渣打(02888.HK)收购印度银行涉违外汇规定 罚逾1,000万美元
印度反洗黑钱机构裁定渣打(02888.HK)在收购当地银行Tamilnad Mercantile Bank时违反外汇规定,将处以10亿卢比(约1,360万美元)罚款。
今次调查长达8年,当局发现渣打在2007年与一个财团收购Tamilnad Mercantile Bank时违反外汇管理法。渣打确认已收到判决并正就此进行评估,故不会作出进一步评论。
