澳洲竞争与消费者委员会(ACCC)表示,将研究苹果(AAPL.US)与Google应用程式商店之间的竞争、应用程式使用及分享用户数据的情况,以及澳洲应用程式商店是否需要提高价格透明度。
目前美国科技巨头已受到全球各国的监管审查,但澳洲监管机构一直较为积极,并成为第一个下令Facebook及谷歌需要就分享新闻,向本地媒体支付费用。
ACCC已计划进行一项为期5年的调查,研究澳洲购买及使用应用程式的情况,预计将於2021年3月公布最终报告。
