FCC料美国营运商需斥18亿美元撤换华为、中兴设备
据《路透》报道,美国联邦通讯委员会(FCC)指,倘美国需要更换来自华为及中兴(00763.HK)的网络设备,将需要花费18.37亿美元。
6月份FCC正式宣布华为及中兴为美国国家安全带来威胁,并禁美国企业使用83亿元的政府基金购置两家公司的设备,而监管机构早前建筑要求郊区的电讯供应商移除或更换来自华为、中兴的设备。FCC认为国会需要批出款项以资助更换设备,而国会已授权退款,但就未批出款项,FCC估计退款金额将涉16.2亿元。(el/k) ~
