格隆匯 8 月 31日丨新世界百貨中國(00825.HK)公告, 與截至2019年6月30日止年度公司股東應占利潤約3300萬港元比較,預期集團截至2020年6月30日止年度將錄得公司股東應占虧損將不少於4.8億港元。
截至2020年6月30日止年度集團的盈利能力下降,主要由於(i)確認集團於中華人民共和國("中國")的百貨店業務的資產(包括商譽)大幅減值虧損及投資物業公平值虧損(基於現時市況低迷及管理層對集團業務展望的評估);及(ii)集團的收益下降,主要因為2019冠狀病毒病的爆發,引致中國零售業務整體放緩及於2020年年初集團於中國的若干百貨店短暫閉店,儘管中國的情況有所改善,但消費者的情緒仍然謹慎。
