联合航空永久取消美本土航班改机票费用
美国联合航空(UAL.US)宣布,永久取消美国本土航班的200美元改机票手续费,措施适用於标准经济客位及优越客位机票,基本经济客位机票则不适用。但航空公司已延长所有本土航班改机票费用豁免安排至今年底。另外,公司明年1月起亦将允许乘客在更改同日机票时免付75美元手续费。
《CNBC》报道指,有关做法将为同业带来压力。美国运输部资料显示,美国航空业界去年从改机票及取消机位等录得28亿美元收益。
受新冠疫情影响,美国今年夏季航空旅客量仅及去年三成,航空公司正设法刺激机票需求。
