Facebook疑优待印度执政党 反对党要求国会展开调查
印度主要反对党呼吁国会设立小组,调查Facebook给予印度执政党有利的待遇。
反对党引述《华尔街日报》的报道称,Facebook及WhatsApp负责监督印度平台上内容的员工拒绝禁止执政党议员发表煽动性言论,理由是要保护公司的商业利益。
Facebook表示,禁止煽动仇恨及煽动暴力的政策在全球适用,不会考虑任何人的政治立场或政党背景。
Facebook旗下的WhatsApp将印度有4亿个用户,目前WhatsApp正在等待印度监管部门批准启动支付平台。
