美上诉法庭裁定高通要求手机商签授权协议不违竞争法
美国第九巡回上诉法庭推翻下级法院裁决,以3比0裁定美国移动通信晶片巨擘高通(Qualcomm)毋须改变其知识产权授权行为。
美国加州地方法院去年5月裁定美国联邦贸易委员会胜诉,指高通要求手机制造商在取得高通供货前签定专利授权协议,为损害市场竞争及消费者利益的行为。.
上诉法庭认为高通无责任为竞争对手晶片授权,亦不认为手机制造商签署授权协议是违反竞争。
美国联邦贸易委员会对裁决感到失望,并考虑是否上诉。
