传Twitter商讨与TikTok合并
据《路透社》引述消息人士报道,Twitter已向字节跳动接触,表示有意收购TikTok。不过专家对此表示质疑,认为Twitter在财务上未必有能力达成此交易。
消息人士表示,在美国总统特朗普决定只给予字节跳动45日时间来出售TikTok後,Twitter能否出价高於微软兼在45日完成交易存在很大的不确定性,因Twitter的市值接近300亿美元,与TikTok资产的估值相若,故需要筹集更多资金来为今次交易提供资金。
不过有另一位消息人士指,Twitter股东之一、私募股权公司Silver Lake,有兴趣为这个交易提供资金。而Twitter亦向字节跳动提出,若由Twitter作出收购会较易取得监管机构批准,同时由於Twitter在中国并不活跃,亦不会面对来自中国政府的任何压力。
