據報國泰(00293.HK)等航空公司獲准削減航班 豁免受罰
據《南華早報》報道,國泰航空(00293.HK)及其他航空公司可以削減往返香港航班至明年3月止,而不會損失機場跑道升降權。民航處周五(7日)表示隨著多國封閉邊境及更少人願意出遊,已豁免對航空公司不營運航班的懲罰。
民航處香港機場航班協調辦公室稱,在疫情下,正監測航空公司有否充分利用跑道升降。在現行「不用即失去」全球準則下,現時經營的航空公司需使用每航季計運力最少80%,否則未來或失去跑道升降權。
考慮到情況及為促進航空公司規劃,辦公室已知會機管局,「不用即失去」的營運限制在2020年冬季續暫停執行,即今年10月25日至明年3月27日。
國泰稱,歡迎民航處決定,容許航空公司在未來數月規劃網絡及班次時有更大彈性。香港航空發言人亦表示歡迎。
