澳洲拟立例迫使Facebook及谷歌等就新闻内容付费
《法新社》报道,澳洲财长Josh Frydenberg公布新法案,迫使互联网搜寻巨擘谷歌(Google)及社交媒体脸书(Facebook)就新闻内容付费。该项强制行为守则亦涵盖取用使用者资料、算法透明度及有关平台的新闻资讯与搜寻结果排名等。法案将於8月提交澳洲国会,并会设定亿澳元计罚则。
Frydenberg表示,纵使法案适用於所有互联网平台,但当地政府将率先针对脸书及谷歌。
脸书及谷歌早前已表明强烈反对有关法案,并暗示他们或选择在法例生效後杯葛澳洲媒体。然而Frydenberg指出,新法例将禁止任何针对澳洲媒体的歧视性行为。
