麦当劳宣布减持日本业务股权至35%
麦当劳(MCD.US)将出售日本业务的部分股权,财务总监Kevin Ozan表示,由於麦当劳日本业务过去数年表现强劲,以及对当地管理团队的信心,认为现在是时候逐步减持股份。
麦当劳目前持有日本业务49.99%股权,计划出售当中的约15%,而余下的35%的股权仍将令麦当劳继续成为主要投资者,并在股东大会上拥有三分之一的否决权。
在疫情爆发下,麦当劳正在进行重组,包括关闭200间分店,并提升全球管理架构。Ozan表示,由於在日本股份流通量不足,剥离股份的过程需要时间,而最终所收回的资金将分配作未来投资,以及支付股息与债务之用。
