南早:海港城要求商戶續租最少18個月方提供租金優惠
據《南華早報》報道,九龍倉置業(01997.HK)旗下尖沙咀海港城繼將2月至4月租金減半後,公司決定向商戶提供租金優惠,但要求租戶最少續租18個月,並要在7月24日作出決定。
根據商場向商戶發出的信件,相關的一次性措施是為了幫助零售行業面對困境,如租戶不在7月24日前回覆將被視作拒絕相關安排,而商場亦不會考慮提供5月份的租金優惠,信中亦強調商場不會更改所提出的條款。
部分商戶表明不會簽署有關協議,亦有商戶選擇簽署但就自行劃走續租條款,也有商戶決定先簽署文件,倘之後要退租再向商場退還優惠款項。
