小米印度舵手:隔離措施致人手短缺拖累復工進度 杯葛中國貨未見影響
小米集團(01810.HK)於印度的負責人Manu Kumar Jain接受《CNBC》訪問時表示,印度的反中情緒未有為公司帶來顯著影響,而公司的生產及研發團隊均在印度,大部分手機及電視產品亦是印度製造,同時有大量零件是在當地採購,現時未見銷售或需求有受重大影響。
受中印邊境衝突升級影響,兩國關係緊張,在印度亦興起杯葛中國貨的浪潮,小米在當地的分店亦以「Made in India」的標語覆蓋招牌,憂店舖會被損毀,據報店面的售貨員亦被要求勿穿小米品牌的制服。
另外值得關注的是,Jain指出疫情確實引起了憂慮,因為公司在當地有7座廠房,當地的鎖國措施導致生產、倉儲及派遞均現人手短缺問題,現時政府僅容許公司三分之一人手復工,令公司復工復產進度減慢,他續指現時仍未能回復至疫情前的水平,估計要到今年稍後時間生產才有望回復。
