390億港元輸血！國泰航空擬資本重組，港府出手相助
6月9日國泰航空在港交所發佈公告稱，董事局宣佈建議實施一項資本重組計劃，集資總額約390億港元。

據公告內容，國泰航空390億港元資本重組建議包括：向Aviation 2020 Limited發行優先股195億港元、認股權證19.5億港元；按每持有11股現有股份獲發7股供股股份的基準進行供股，供股發行25億股，認購價4.68港元，集資總額為117億港元；從Aviation 2020 Limited處獲得過渡貸款融資78億港元。
公司表示，資本重組完成後，太古持有國泰航空的比例由45%降至42.26%，中國國航持有國泰航空的比例降至28.17%，卡塔爾航空持股比例降至9.38%，港府入股6.08%。

據悉，Aviation 2020 Limited為一家根據《財政司司長法團條例》（香港法例第1015章）設立並由財政司司長法團全資擁有的於香港成立的有限公司。
國泰表示，因為疫情影響，各地政府實施的旅遊限制已導致國泰在出入境旅客方面客運量大幅減少，加上對國泰集團未來前景和營運帶來的不確定性，董事局認為需要進行資本重組，以確保其有足夠的流動性來應對當前的危機。此外，此舉預計可令國泰處於更為有利的位置以積極參與競爭，促進國泰業務重新增長。
據公司月度數據顯示，今年以來，國泰航空月旅客吞吐人數急劇下降，尤其4月份載客人數下降至不足1.4萬，同比下跌99.6％，而2019年單月最低人數為242萬。此外，國泰航空月航班數量也鋭減至1121班，去年同期為6882班；旅客載運率從2019年4月的83.9%降至21.7%。

資本市場上，國泰航空今年以來股價震盪下行，年初至今下跌23.52%。截至日前收盤，公司股價為8.81港元，總市值346.57億港元。

此外，2019年剛走出燃油對衝虧損陰霾的國泰，又受到本地示威活動影響，加之疫情衝擊，，上年度業績也不甚理想。據公司財報顯示，2019年國泰航空錄得營收1069.73億港元，同比下滑3.68%；歸母淨利潤16.91億港元，同比下滑27.89%。
