IATA料全球航空业年底总负债将达5,500亿美元
国际航空运输协会(IATA)预计,全球航空公司今年底止负债将按年增加1,200亿美元,至5,500亿美元。其中670亿美元新债来自政府货款(500亿美元)、延後税项(50亿美元)及信贷保证(120亿美元);520亿美元来自商业机构,包括商业贷款(230亿美元)、资本市场债务(180亿美元)、新业务带来债务(50亿美元)及从现有信贷工具提款(60亿美元)。
协会又指,各地政府总计承诺向航空公司提供1,230亿美元援助,主要被用作薪金津贴、证券融资及税务宽免,当中670亿美元需要还款。协会认为有关缓助起关键作用,又指航空公司料在第二季消耗600亿美元现金。协会亦指,由於逾半支援为新产生债务,使航空业财务状况完全改变,航空公司偿还贷款所需时间将较乘客需求复苏需时更长。
