万洲(00288.HK)旗下美国史密斯菲尔德陆续重开厂房
万洲(00288.HK)旗下美国肉类生产商史密斯菲尔德(Smithfield Foods)陆续重开厂房,其中在上月因新型肺炎疫情而关闭的南达科他州大型屠宰场,在本周一开始恢复有限度营运。
美国食品和商业工人联合会发言人指,史密斯菲尔德在宣布南达科他州苏瀑市(Sioux Falls)的工厂将无限期关闭後约三周,重开该厂的绞肉调味及夜间清洁部门。发言人提到,该厂3,700名工人中约有250人恢复工作,公司亦计划逐步重启更多业务,但并未恢复屠宰猪只。
