賀一誠重申目前及將來均無意調低博彩稅 指現是好時機做好本地基建
澳門行政長官賀一誠昨日(21日)表示,澳門六間博彩企業雖經歷了數月低潮,但應該仍具有足夠的能力、資金及清晰的經營方向等,因此目前以至將來,政府不會調低博彩稅。要調低博彩稅,需要社會共識才能推行。他感謝六家博企願意提供酒店作醫學觀察酒店,對政府的支持,這就是社會責任,政府未來會加強與博企的互相溝通。同時,肯定博企作出稅務上的貢獻,而政府則利用相關的財政盈餘做好各項工作。
賀一誠強調,疫情過後的復甦,社會及全民均有責任,他希望博企能有一定付出,但大家亦不應把責任全放在他們身上。他認為澳門雖然地方小,易受疫情衝擊,但復甦絕對不會比世界其他地方慢。
此外,他表示未來數年是澳門建築業的黃金期,指在博彩經營權牌照重新競投前,博企未有大型基建及投資前,現在是澳門政府做好本地基建建設的好時機。
