高盛料美国第二季经济萎缩5% 下半年将强劲反弹
高盛将美国首季经济增长预测由0.7%降至零,第二季增长由零下调至倒退5%,以反映新型冠状病毒疫情爆发对经济的影响,不过第三季增长则从1%提高至3%。
高盛预计,美国经济活动将在3月下旬及整个4月急剧萎缩,因疫情爆发导致消费者及企业继续削减外游、娱乐及餐饮等开支。除对消费者开支的影响外,由於供应链中断的情况加剧,亦拖累美国经济。
高盛预计,美国下半年经济将强劲增长,第四季度增长料达4%,将高於最初估计的2.25%,而明年初更将进一步强劲反弹。总体而言,高盛对今年经济预测从最初的1.2%降至0.4%。
