太古(00019.HK):無意派發特別息 看好中港兩地長遠發展
太古公司(00019.HK)及太古地產(01972.HK)主席施銘倫於記者會表示,因應市場環境不確定性增,因此決定保持2019年度的派息政策較保守,至於今年的政策,需視乎稍後的經濟環境而決定,但無意派發150周年的特別息。
他指,今年不論本地或環球市場,都受新型肺炎疫情影響,旗下業務,特別是國泰(00293.HK)亦已公布會錄重大虧損,但對業務長遠仍有信心,看好中國內地長遠的發展,以及香港作為國際金融中心的地位。他又指,內地市場的基本面仍然強勁,飲品市場去年見增長動力,希望今年會持續,短期疫情影響生產,但相信過後恢復亦會很快。
至於港機方面,業務受累航空業下滑的影響,令本地維修飛機的數字下降,不過廈門業務仍見強大的需求;而海洋業務方面,管理層指已致力降低成本和吸引客戶,但近期油價變動或會造成影響,目前仍然尚早討論影響數字。
