三生製藥(01530.HK)參與投資MPM腫瘤創新基金並向Dana-Farber癌症研究所捐款
2020年2月26日美國著名生物醫藥風險投資公司MPM Capital和Dana-Farber癌症研究所 (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) 共同宣佈成功籌集1億美元的MPM腫瘤創新基金 (INV)，同時Dana-Farber創新研究基金 (IRF) 獲得超過2600萬美元的捐款。中國領先的生物製藥公司三生製藥(01530.HK)是MPM腫瘤創新基金INV的LP投資者, 並同時向IRF捐款用於支持Dana-Farber癌症研究所早期癌症研究。INV與IRF的這項合作是史無前例的，將對投資合作模式產生影響。
MPM計劃利用INV創建和投資開發腫瘤治療技術的早期生物技術公司。MPM預計，50% INV的資金將投資基於Dana-Farber癌症研究所創新技術新成立的公司。在該合作框架下，MPM有權優先獲得Dana-Farber癌症研究所某些技術的商業化授權。
MPM Capital聯合創始人兼總經理Ansbert Gadicke表示：“通過MPM和Dana-Farber癌症研究所合作的創新資助結構，我們相信可以擴大和加速重要的研究工作，同時把這些研究發展成新的療法。我們很榮幸與世界領先的癌症研究中心來執行這一戰略, 共同尋找癌症治療方法。“
