李小加:疫情影響新股上市時間及ETF通進程
港交所(00388.HK)行政總裁李小加於電話會議上表示,肺炎疫情影響新股上市進程,部份公司於年初疫情嚴重後延遲上市計劃,不過他提及,過往下半年才是新股上市的高峰期。另外新措施如ETF通及新股通等相信亦將受到影響,指今年「開年不順」、「應該不是動作特別大的一年」。惟他重申,在原先的規劃中,ETF通及新股通「也不是一天兩天」就可完成的事情。
他又指,肺炎疫情最大的問題是其不確定性,不知道將持續多久,以及其嚴重性和對經濟的影響程度。員工的安全亦是首要考慮。
對於去年收購倫敦交易所失敗,李小加指去年做了「必須做的事情」亦已盡了努力,他指港交所國際拓展步伐不會慢下來,將會繼續走,方法或轉為自然發展,而非經收購。
至於被問及中國股投資港股通的門檻太高,李小加指由於中港市場仍存在認識差異,因此存在制約及門檻,相信未來將會得到解決,不過中短期仍將會有限制存在,港股通變得更方便、廣泛及容易的大方向不會改變。
