星島(01105.HK)大部份員工下月起薪酬下調10%至15% 高級管理層減薪25%
星島(01105.HK)今日(21日)向全體員工發通函,指香港經濟自去年下半年步入衰退,近日新型冠狀病毒的疫情更引發前所未有的影響,經濟活動最重受創,營商氣氣悲觀,對香港媒體行業的打擊極大,集團亦不能偉免,目前的周期性低迷加上本身的行業結構性改變可謂雪上加霜。
集團指,管理層為著保障集團的長遠穩健發展,決定提出員工薪酬調整。一眾執行董事及高級管理人員將會減薪25%。此外,大部份員工(包括兼職員工)的薪酬將下調10%至15%,減幅按現有薪酬水平而定。薪酬下調將於3月1日起生效。
集團提到,面對快速逆轉的市場狀況,估計經濟環境短期內難以復元,必須及時作出調整,管理層期望香港經濟環境及集團業務狀況早日改善,令薪酬條件重回正軌。
