必和必拓警告疫情将冲击资源需求
必和必拓表示,除非中国新型冠状病毒疫情在3月底得到遏制,否则将对资源需求带来冲击,无论石油、铜及钢铁的用量都会减少,届时公司将需要下调对经济及商品需求增长的预测。
不过必和必拓行政总裁Mike Henry表示,疫情带来的任何影响都是短暂的,对公司长期前景感到乐观。
必和必拓截至12月31日底止的6个月盈利增长30%至48亿美元,主要受惠於铁矿石价格上涨。基本盈利上升39%至52亿美元,因大宗商品价格上涨及产量增加。
