友邦(01299.HK):醫療技術發展令醫療開支大幅減低
友邦(01299.HK)區域首席執行官陳榮聲出席亞洲金融論壇時表示,中國與香港不同的地方,在於前者的基本醫療保障不足,不容易預約診症。面對相關市場的痛點,友邦合作的醫療平台提供快速醫療評估,以協助解決相關問題。他指,友邦與客戶除了理賠的關係之外,亦希望可以協助客戶維持健康,及在發現問題的時候盡早診斷,例如在亞洲地區推出AIA Vitality,一來可以確保客戶健康狀況,亦能令理賠金額減少,多方得益。
另外,隨著醫療技術發展,大部份手術已可在日間治療中心進行,大大減低醫療費用,亦能緩解醫療費用繼續通脹。 ~
