梁志堅:借地建過渡性房屋冀為香港做事
會德豐地產主席梁志堅表示,公司擁有農地面積約400萬至500萬平方呎,認為與其慢慢等待申請改變用途,倒不如一次過借出,讓政府解決短期房屋供應不足問題。他表示,借出八年期過後,有關土地未必申請作房屋用途,但目前未有定案。
他又指,除了是次借出土地外,公司仍有兩三幅農地,佔地數十萬呎,部份為與其他發展商合作發展。他相信其他發展商與政府亦有不同形式的商討,又指是次捐出土地與北京批評發展商無關,只是作為香港人希望可以為香港做事。 ~
