會德豐(00020.HK)借出50萬平方呎土地建過渡性房屋 涉2,000單位
會德豐地產公布,將會向非牟利機構借出合共超過50萬平方呎土地興建過渡性房屋,象徵式1元租金,借出年期為八年,涉及土地包括大埔、屯門及東涌地皮,提供合共超過2,000個過渡性房屋。
公司預計,有關做法可以惠及超過6,000個家庭或超過2萬人。會德豐地產主席梁志堅表示,本港房屋供應短缺是當前急切的問題,公司主動接觸政府,協助於三年內合共提供1萬個過渡性房屋單位的目標。 ~
