新西兰电讯营运商Spark停止依赖华为作为5G服务夥伴
《路透》报道,新西兰电讯营运商Spark New Zealand宣布,停止依赖中国电讯设备商华为作为推动5G服务的唯一夥伴,但把华为列为3个倾向选择设备供应商之一。新西兰情报报门去年11月拒绝Spark提出使用华为设备的建议,指存在国家安全风险。
Spark选择诺基亚、三星电子及华为为倾向选择供应商,并会以诺基亚设备率先在新西兰推出5G服务,有关安排已获新西兰政府批准。公司称将於今年圣诞节前在南岛五个地区引入5G服务,并在明年中扩至主要地区。
