报道指汇丰一企业银行账户用途不符遭取消 涉助抗争活动筹款
《信报》报道,汇丰一企业银行客户被指户口实际用途与当初开户用途不符,上月遭要求结束户口,并给予该企业客户30日通知期。报道指该户口协助涉及抗争活动的大型众筹基金接受捐款。据悉有关情况亦有於其他银行出现。
汇丰发言人回应报道时表示,作为负责任的金融机构,有必要了解客户的背景和需要,并保障金融体系的健全。该行一向定期检视客户账户的状况,若发现账户的交易活动与开户时所陈述的用途不相符、或客户的资料出现遗漏,会主动检视所有关该账户的活动,同时亦有可能终止该账户。
