網龍(00777.HK)教育子公司獲上達資本1.5億美元戰略投資
格隆匯11月10日丨網龍(00777.HK)公佈，網龍與上達資本達成協議，上達資本將對網龍的教育子公司進行1.5億美元的戰略投資。
發行予上達資本的非公開可轉換證券未來將可以轉換為網龍教育子公司的普通股，轉換價按教育子公司13.5億美元的估值計算。本次戰略投資是網龍教育子公司與上達資本開展廣泛合作的其中一部分。上達資本在大中華地區的教育領域擁有豐富經驗及多個投資組合。
近年來，網龍已成為教育技術市場的全球領導者。不僅為中國教育工作者和學校提供獨特的產品組合，包括屢獲殊榮的101教育PPT以及智慧教室解決方案，網龍還通過收購在各自領域保持領先的公司Promethean、Edmodo及JumpStart，逐漸發展成為全球化的學習平台。平台目前已在全球擁有超過1,300萬月活躍用户及超過1億註冊用户。
上達資本是一家專注於中國市場的私募股權投資管理公司，於教育領域擁有優良往績。作為被投企業值得信賴的合作伙伴，上達資本能夠與管理團隊共同推動業務發展、增加關鍵價值，以提升經營及財務表現。
上達資本於教育領域的投資組合覆蓋了中國市場的幼兒園、學習中心、K-12國際學校及海外留學服務提供商。作為與上達資本合作的一部分，網龍計劃為上達資本的教育投資組合公司網絡上的學生、老師及家長提供全套產品及服務，並且將探索與多家上達資本投資組合公司的潛在合作機會。

上達資本的戰略投資的款項將用於支持網龍的產品開發及增長策略，以及為教育領域的潛在收購及投資提供資金。
