道指成分股,美国快餐连锁麦当劳(McDonalds)宣布即时解雇行政总裁Steve Easterbrook,指其与一名员工发生亲密关系,违反公司政策。公司董事会指,Easterbrook在该关系上展示差劣的判力,并决定由美国总裁Chris Kempczinski即时接任行政总裁一职。公司没有披露事件细节。
Easterbrook向员工发送电邮信件承认犯错,并指基於公司价值,与董事会同意让他辞去职位。
Easterbrook自2015年以来担任麦党劳的行政总裁,任内公司出售大量分店,并以授权方式经营,目前逾九成分店为授权经营店。该策略成功带动盈利,麦当劳股价自其上任以来累升96%。
