张云正料第三季访港旅客保单金额按年跌双位数
近期本港受社会事件影响,加上访港旅客数字下降,保监局行政总裁张云正预计,第三季访港旅客购买保单金额按年将会录得至少双位数跌幅。占比亦自高位的逾40%降至上半年的约20%,惟料不会跌至单位数。他指相关占比下跌并非不健康,有机会是本地客户占比上升,或是保险产品多元化推动份母变大。
至於近期商铺的破坏活动会否推动保费上升,张云正表示,本港保单超过90%属於寿险,而相关保险亦只占非寿险的一小部份,再加上事件或会引发更多商户明白购买保险的需要,在风险共同承担的原则下,保费长期而言或会下降,惟短前而言相信相关保费将上升。
