港酒店經營商促政府寬免地租共渡時艱 個別入住率跌至20%

本港反修例風波持續百日,未有消退跡象,酒店業入住率及房價急跌,鑑於現時經濟下行,有酒店經營商促請政府寬免差餉地租,甚至容許提供空置房間的物業供長租或出售。

報道引述旅行社網頁資料指,茂盛控股(00022.HK)旗下青衣永倫800酒店平日房租低見71元,較市面分間租房更便宜,並較去年3月所錄207元低位再低逾65%;海景房月租租金僅5,980元,包早餐及無線上網,亦較許多分間租房便宜。

Ovolo奧華酒店創辦人兼行政總裁Girish Jhunjhnuwala接受《南華早報》訪問時稱,對任何行業而言,今年的挑戰性都是前所未見。他表示,旅遊業所受衝擊最為嚴重,促請政府寬免差餉地租最少一年,成立短期基金協助酒店業,提供旅客激勵,如以優惠房價吸引過夜旅客,及指示銀行寬減酒店業貸款的利息。

他表示,香港大部分酒店的入住率按年跌約30%至40%,有些甚至跌至僅20%。他預告酒店前線員工或被迫減少工時,減薪甚至面對裁員。

另擁有9家酒店的華大酒店(00201.HK)主席兼行政總裁鄭啟文接受該報訪問時稱,政府應放寬工廈及工業區荒廢酒店改劃,可供出租甚至出售作住宅用途。他表示,倘政府確認年輕人有住屋需要,應放寬法規,容許出租具有廚房的酒店房至多過28日,及容許將酒店房出售予個別買家。
