航空公司協會促港府寬免著陸及泊位費等 共渡時艱
據《南華早報》引述香港航空公司代表協會(BAR)致函運房局信件指,要求港府寬免昂貴的機場著陸及泊位費,協助航空業應對社會不穩帶來的下行;並建議政府減低航空公司在機場的其他營運開支,包括寫字樓及貴賓室租金等。上月港府提出191億元的紓困方案,但未有涵蓋航空公司。
BAR代表超過70家航空公司,該會主席、同為國泰(00293.HK)顧客及商務總裁的林紹波在信中提及,盈利減少已令前往香港的航線,在財政上變得不可行。該會促請政府推出短期援助措施,幫助航空公司共渡時艱,又特別提到航空業為香港提供33萬個職位,貢獻香港10.2%的GDP。不過,信中未有表明希望相關措施可維持多久。
