美联邦航空管理局局长拟亲自驾驶测试波音737 MAX客机
曾担任达美航空飞机师的美国联邦航空管理局(FAA)局长Steve Dickson,在接受美国《全国广播公司》(NBC)访问时表示,他会在亲自试驾波音737 MAX客机後,才会亲自批准该款客机复飞。他早前接受《CNBC》访问时表示,会保证在他满意该款客机为最安全客机後,才会让该款客机复飞。
当局要求1名波音及1名FAA机师参与测试飞行,为该款客机进行再认证程序。Dicksont并非测试机师,因此他何时试驾该款客机仍未定案。波音公司表示,公司会满足监管当局要求,并继续支援国际监管机构,让客机安全回归服务。
Dickson前往美国西雅图与波音公司高层会晤。
