穆迪将汇丰银行和恒生银行外币存款评级展望降至「负面」
评级机构穆迪确认香港上海汇丰银行和恒生银行(00011.HK)的长期港元和外币存款评级均为「Aa2」,长期港元存款评级展望维持「稳定」,外币存款评级展望则由「稳定」修正为「负面」。
展望转变主要是基於该行早前将香港信贷评级展望由「稳定」修正为「负面」。
两家银行的长期存款评级「Aa2」与香港政府处於相同水平,香港的港元存款评级上限为「Aaa」,而外币存款评级上限为「Aa2」。若香港评级由「Aa2」降至「Aa3」,将会相应影响外币存款评级上限。
